My holiday STEM Clubs are set up to provide children with the opportunity to explore their creativity and utilise their skills of lateral skills and problem solving. 

Today’s education system, with a heavy focus on reading and writing, often does not allow children who have specific learning difficulties to truly shine. My STEM Clubs allow children to follow the design process from start to finish. It begins with a design brief, an invitation to solve a real life problem. The children are then encouraged to come up with their own solutions through brainstorming. Once a design has been agreed upon they create and build their design, which is then tested. However, this is only the beginning of any true iterative design process. The children are then encouraged to improve their designs, to make them even better than before. Designs are tested, evaluated and celebrated. This process builds skills of resilience, focus and determination.
